The Goodwin Paris Private Investment Funds team advised CIC Private Debt on the closing of its CIC Mezzanine & Unitranche Financing Fund 6, raising €610 million.
The fund received strong support from both existing investors and new leading institutional investors. CIC, the historical sponsor, has renewed its commitment for the sixth consecutive time.
Since 2003, the Mezzanine & Unitranche team at CIC Private Debt has supported over 120 companies in their growth and succession plans. Fund 6 will maintain its niche positioning in the small and lower midcap segment, a space considered more resilient in the current market environment.
The Goodwin team was led by Sarah Michel and included Galien Devillers and Nicolas Desmats on fund formation aspects, and Marie-Laure Bruneel and Paul Fournière on tax aspects.
